We purchased two chairs. Both appear to be high quality and are very comfortable. I was worried my oversized body (6ft 265lb ) would not fit but the chairs have plenty of room. They each can hold up to 380lbs evenly distributed. My wife likes the overall fit but wishes the chair back extended a little higher.Assembly was only a little difficult. Each chair took me over an hour to assemble. The manufacturer labelled every part, every included tool, and every single screw/bolt. The instructions clearly referenced all of the parts and screws by label. The difficulty was that 12 holes were not predrilled. It appears the parts were designed that way since both chairs were missing the same predrilled holes. I took my time to determine where the holes should be then drilled them myself.It took time to tighten the many screws and bolts. The screws needed enough force to tighten that I did not use my electric screw driver. I was worried I would strip the screw heads. Hand tightening was not bad but took more time. A screwdriver is included but I chose to use my larger handle, ergonomic screwdriver. It made the process much easier.Watch out for predrilled holes that do not line up perfectly. I had to use a small hammer to tap in some bolts where the predrilled holes did not line up. Everything assembled fine. However, when I tried to fold the chair the four bolts were so stressed that they shattered the parts they were in. I am currently waiting on customer service to send me the two chair parts that shattered. Don't force the bolts. Use a drill to enlarge the predrilled holes so the bolts go through without stress.Overall I like the chair. But I wish in the manual they had put a warning!! That you should not buy any circumstance over extend the chair when unfolding it past the lock pins. It only takes about half an inch past those lock pins and the top arm will crack right in half.Now I have to contact them to get a replacement part C as I guess everyone has to learn this the hard way because they don't put anything in their manual about this.Probably all the good reviews are people that have never folded their chair.So if you're confused at this point let me say this another way, if you fold your chair and collapse it for a transport when you unfold your chair be very very very very very very careful that when you unfold it that you do not move the legs past the point where the locking pin goes in. If you do this you will find that you probably will crack and split your arm top. There is no room for play before it cracks. This isn't wood folks this is hard brittle plastic that looks like wood so it's got its pros and cons. I'm not going to go over a list of those here in this review but I am here to tell you about the one big con. Do not under any circumstances over extend your chair when unfolding, not folding!, But unfolding the chair gently unfold it to the point where you can get the lock pin into the hole but do not under any circumstances extend past that lock pin point or crack you'll be contacting them using the lifetime warranty guarantee they give you. We shall see how long it takes for me to get this part.....Spent a lot of time looking for chairs to replace an old set. There are lots of options out there and found these to be the best value for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality (it’s pretty sturdy) and the blue color is vibrant—it matched the picture perfectly and gives a nautical look to any backyard. This was also pretty comfortable even for a petite person. It didn’t feel too overwhelmingly large. Even my husband who is bigger and taller felt comfortable too. It took him a couple of hours to assemble both chairs together. I highly recommend following the instructions closely and watching assembly videos.Serwall’s Customer Service is excellent. I had an issue with a small chip on one of the chairs and they quickly responded and addressed the issue. I found the folding mechanism for the chair a bit tricky. I live on the Midwest and will need to store these in the garage in the winter so the folding feature is necessary. Thankfully, Serwall sent me a video instructions on how to fold. Overall, I ampretty pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this brand.Over the years I have obtained 10 of these chairs. I love them. However, a recent purchase of 6 shows a design flaw in the Part K involving the folding capability of the chairs. We usually do not fold our chairs but our recent purchase involved chairs that we will transport to different locations on our property and thus need the folding capability. On folding them, part K broke in half. My very handy son discovered a work-a-round involving a slight grinding of Part K. After that it worked perfectly. I will request a replacement part for the one that broke via the manufacturer. Otherwise, we love them. They are heavy and hold up well in several different environments in Texas.These maybe a little more expensive but easier to put together than others, very very comfortable (compared to Costco ones) and great colour unavailable any where else!!!Fold very nicely, almost flat and very easy to do so!Love these chairs!While these chairs are very attractive and very comfortable, they were not so easy to assemble. The diagram showed holes that weren’t there, so you are definitely required to to drill your own holes in at least 4 spots. Both chairs were missing the same holes, so it wasn’t just one odd occurrence.I like the chair. I ordered two of them. They came on separate days. The first one arrived with a broken piece that the guy I hired to put them together had to MacGyver (he made it work). It was so heavy I didn't want to go to the trouble of sending it back. The next one arrived with holes in the boxes and screws coming out - one must have come out on delivery because it was missing. Overall, a good product but ruined by its packaging and shipping.These recycled material Adirondack chairs are sturdy and very well made. They were relatively simple to assemble although I did it by myself and it was a bit tricky at times to balance parts and tighten the nuts and bolts at the same time but I did it. They look beautiful, they are really comfortable and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat!We were very excited that the chairs arrived a week earlier than we expected but one of the chairs was broken (see photo). When we tried to return it, Amazon said that it would only pay $24 for shipping but since we're in Australia, it would cost around $300 to ship it back to the US. We tried to contact the company to see if they could just send a replacement board but couldn't find a way to contact them. Luckily, my husband is very handy and was able to fix the break himself (see other photo). If he hadn't been able to do that, I would have rated this 1. If it wasn't broken to begin with (the other chair was fine), I would have rated it a 5 because we absolutely love the chairs and the color. They're very comfortable and look great in our fire pit area.
